Description Lumii Black 600w Electronic Ballast The ballast features dim and boost functions, giving you the ability to control the light output from your lamp to your plants. There are two dimmable options (250w & 400w) and a ‘super-lumens’ boost option (600w Boost) which is on average a 10% increase in output. We recommend using a 600w lamp for 600w dimmer settings, a 400w lamp for 400w dimmer settings and a 250w lamp for 250w dimmer settings. Never boost a lower wattage lamp to a higher lamp setting. Setup Steps: It can take up to 10 mintutes to ignite a lamp depending on the type and age of the lamp you are using. Set the dimmer know to 100% power for your chosen lamp first. Once the unit has warmed up (after 10 – 15 mins) you can adjust power. It is highly recommended to use a Surge Protector (which you can get at any Hardware store) or a Contact Relay.
